Thierry Henry and his Monaco players confronted by fans after disaster start
THIERRY HENRY and his Monaco players were confronted by supporters after yet another poor result.
His side lost 1-0 at Stade Reims yesterday meaning Henry is still winless since taking over from the sacked Leonardo Jardim on October 18.
Mathieu Cafaro scored the only goal of the game before both sides had a player sent off in the second half.
The result leaves Monaco 19th in Ligue 1, level on points with bottom side Guingamp who play Nantes today.
And travelling supporters were not afraid to vent their anger at full-time as a flare appeared to be set off.
Stewards had to step in as a group of fans made their way to the front of the stand when Henry & Co came over to acknowledge their support.
Henry has endured a difficult start to life as a manager.
His first game saw his side lose 2-1 at Strasbourg, Youri Tielemans scoring an injury-time consolation penalty, and had Samuel Grandsir sent off.
They could then only manage a draw at Club Brugge in the Champions League before rescuing a 2-2 draw at home to Dijon last weekend.
And yesterday’s defeat piled more misery on the club that won Ligue 1 and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League just 18 months ago.

After Tuesday’s reverse fixture against Club Brugge, Monaco welcome the free-scoring PSG to the Stade Louis II.
It could be another torrid evening for the legend who began his playing career at the Principality club before enjoying a successful career notably at Juventus, Arsenal and Barcelona.
