NEWCASTLE stars are reportedly set to dust down their Harry Potter costumes for a Christmas party after cancelling last year’s do due to bad form.

Key personnel amongst the team such as Matt Ritchie and Jonjo Shelvey took it upon themselves to call off the Harry Potter themed bash even after buying their costumes to focus on their form.

But after winning three matches on the bounce and propelling to 13th place Magpie players are set to get into character again to revive the tradition.

According to the Mail, Rafael Benitez’s men will hit the toon in London on December 15 following their trip to Huddersfield.

Newcastle face two key league fixtures against West Ham and Everton in the next week.

Their first is against the Hammers on Saturday at 3pm.
