WWE news: Sasha Banks major doubt for historic Evolution pay-per-view due to four-time Raw champ suffering with a back problem
SASHA BANKS is reportedly struggling with a back injury making her a major doubt for the historic Evolution pay-per-view.
The WWE star, real name Mercedes Ton, has not been seen on television for over a month.
Vince McMahon’s company have not made any official on her absence.
But rumours have been mounting since the 26-year-old pulled out of an appearance on this week’s episode of MTV’s “Ridiculousness” and was replaced by Becky Lynch.
The historic first-ever WWE all-woman pay-per-view Evolution also takes place on October 28, and although she is not currently scheduled to compete, many would have expected her to feature.
But now Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin says the four-time Raw Women’s Champion is dealing with a back injury.
Although he offered no confirmation on the seriousness of the problem, it appears unlikely she will be back in action for showcase in New York later this month.
Suspicions arose when she dropped out of partnering Bobby Lashley in the Mixed Match Challenge due to a health-related issue three weeks ago.
Mickie James replaced her in the tournament as fans eagerly await an update on the condition of the boss.
